This is my humble opinion (as the webmaster)...I was at Mikee's show at the Outback last night (Friday). Now this I simply don't understand... The view is fantastic, the ambience is remarkable, the waitstaff and bartenders are spot on, the food prices are a little high but they do put out a buffet at 10:00 for a mere $5.00, THE ENTERTAINMENT...well that needs no more propping from me as you all know the talent that lies within Mikee and Joel (the Saturday night Karaoke King). Now what I don't understand is, WHERE IS EVERYBODY!! Last night was the best show in Seattle that no one saw! Mikee was absolutely rockin with some of the best guitar, keys, and violin I've ever heard from him, and brothers and sisters, that says alot. The Outback simply does not do any advertising, except for some sandwich boards out front after 8:00pm. I think here on this website is the most advertising that is happening. Now, last weekend it was poppin in there! I'm sorry, I just don't get it. Don't take this like I'm pleading for you all to come in. Of course he'd love to see all of you, but, after all it is in Seattle (DUI capital of the universe) and he would hate to hear that anyone he cares about got popped. The word in Seattle will be getting around soon enough about the show and they won't have enough room for all the singers and rockers shoving their way inside...patience...webmaster...patience...

Mikee had a great time hosting karaoke at the Hawks Nest Bar & Grill in Seattle by Qwest Field for a Seahawk's after game party! What a game!! The place was so packed with Seahawk's fans and the fan noise so deafening that he had to wait until after the game to set up his show. But what a time they had! Looking forward to watching the Seattle/Chicago game there and of course, the NFC Championship Game with Green Bay at HOME (that is of course pending our win with ChiTown and GB's win at Atlanta, but we have faith). Oh, and it looks like Joel will be taking over Saturday nights (thanks again to the Bullpen) at the Outback. Friday nights are in question, so you can email Mikee (badaxemikee@hotmail.com) to find out for sure. But go and check out Joel's show...the Outback is a very cool place.

After a brief takeover by alien intelligence (otherwise known as my failure to renew his hosting account on time) BadAxeMikee is back up and running.
Don't forget to visit his new store and most important of all....sign the Guestbook!
Be sure to come visit him at the OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE on Westlake Ave. Friday and Saturday nights (especially this Friday, NEW YEAR's EVE!).

Sorry for late notice, but Mikee is no longer playing at the Star Lake Inn. It was great fun playing there, but too much off the beaten path. We'll miss some of the folks there, but if they tune into this website they'll know where to come.

The party out in Enumclaw this Labor Day weekend was as great as we had hoped! Sorry to those who weren't able to make it, the next one there won't be until next Memorial Day weekend (always on the Saturday). There was plenty of friends and family...and of course food, drink, and music!! The music started pretty early (6-ish) as there was a lot of people to sing. Among these 'people' were some of the cutest and talented youngsters you'd ever want to hear (move over 'America's Got Talent'). There was Josh's two little ones, Mattie and Victoria; Sarah's son, Jenson; Cindy's granddaughter Alex...and others. Most of them were first-timers. No shortage of adult singers either, and Mikee was as hot as usual (yes girls) also his guitar and violin were pretty hot too. For those who don't want to wait until Memorial Day, Mikee will be performing his Karaoke Show at the Star Lake Inn in Auburn on Mondays and Tuesdays starting Sept 13th & 14th. Many thanks to those of you who made it for the Party hosted by Mikee at the Star Lake Inn this last Monday (the 23rd). Their place is usually pretty quiet on Mondays (whose isn't!), but we were certainly rocking out that night. It wasn't a private party, so a lot of people who just came to drink and play a few games of pool, stayed most of the night and sang or just enjoyed the show, and the word spread... A couple of employees said it was their most fun night ever. We'll let you know if he schedules another night there. It's quite the place, great view overlooking Star Lake, with two pool tables and multiple dart boards and video machines. Small menu, but the food is good. They don't normally have karaoke, and were totally blown away with Mikee's setup and show, of course.
